You are loved!

The devil cannot remind us that we are God’s beloved because when we know this truth, whatever he wants to bring against us will not succeed!We are God’s beloved not because of what we do. Christ did everything. So if the devil tells you, “Hey, you call yourself ‘God’s beloved’ after what you just did?” have the assurance that it is not based on what you have done, but what Christ has done.

We are not being proud when we call ourselves God’s beloved. How can we boast when we know that it is God’s grace that has made us accepted in the Beloved! We put our trust and confidence upon God's greater love than our shortcomings. We are being proud of the unchangeable love of God.

Throughout the last week, my husband had been working on a project in his company. He had to use a softwear to complete a blueprint. Not only he had lost touch with the softwear, but also the softwear has been updated since his last use. He had to finish it by the next day. Nobody including his boss in the office knew how to do it. After coming home, he could not neither take a good rest nor have a deep sleep, (Even though snoring....)

I also brought this issu to the Lord and prayed. It seemed to be impposible to compete it by the due date and I could not expect the situation to turn over. Anyhow during lunch time I called him to check the situation. He said, " I could finish it by 10 am and sent it to a head office. While working on it, I felf God's love for me and overwhelmed by it. Then an idea how to use the softwear stroke me out of sudden! How wonderful His Grace is!! This is really God's unmerited favor!"

And what God said to Jesus, He says to you and me today: “You are My beloved. In you, I am well pleased." (Matt3:17)

You are deeply loved!
